Digital heritage is defined by the UNESCO as " made up of computer-based materials of enduring value that should be kept for future generations". This heritage can come from different communities, industries, sectors and regions, and it will preserve cultural and natural heritage. [1]

Digital Heritage is a subset of Digital Humanities that focuses on preserving and exploring our combined cultural heritage. [2]
