Introduction

Paul Otlet was a writer and innovator born in 1986 in Belgium [1]. He is most known for his book Traité de documentation : le livre sur le livre : théorie et pratique and the "Universal Decimal Classification" system he co-signed with Henri La Fontaine which both established the basis of the classification of documentation.
